How To Restore Plush (Minky) Remnants
In this tutorial, we share methods to revive the pile of plush (minky) fabric remnants that may have become crushed or flattened during storage. For smooth plush fabrics, gently ironing the reverse side on a low heat setting can help lift the pile. If necessary, increase the heat slightly, but avoid exceeding the wool setting to prevent damage. For dimple plush fabrics, placing them in the tumble dryer on a high setting for 10 minutes can effectively restore their texture without compromising the dimple effect. These simple techniques can bring your plush fabrics back to their original, luxurious state.
